Life – metaphorically through running.

I went for a run the other day without any electronics. This means I didn’t listen to music or podcasts. I had a lot of time to think.

I thought about all the metaphors between running and life, and I’d like to share them with you.

p.s. – before I list them, don’t take this post too seriously, but do enjoy it.

You have to go uphill in order to enjoy the downhill.

You cannot stop just because you are a bit sore or a bit worn out – keep pushing.

There are times where all you want is the finish line.

There are times when the view is gorgeous and you could go for days.

Sometimes it is better completed with a friend, or a group of friends.

At times, it is better to do it solo.

Watch out for bumps in the road, but don’t let them stop you.

Don’t stop just because your toes hurt (wait, what?).

Think of the pay off from your hard work.

Run the good race.
